Recruitment Consultant
The purpose of this role is to manage permanent or locum recruitment assignments from initial client/candidate contact through to placement, registration/migration initiation and follow-up. The main activities inlcude:

  • Managing recruitment assignments from initial client/candidate contact through to placement and follow-up.
  • Devising business development strategies to ensure the establishment and growth of your individual recruitment portfolio.
  • Developing strategic relationships with candidates and clients and other important individuals throughout the healthcare industry in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Developing marketing initiatives for both candidates and client to build Wavelength brand awareness in the health industry.
  • Undertaking client visits to build brand awareness and cross-sell the business.

Para Consultant
The purpose of this role is to support one or two recruiters with administrative aspects of the recruitment process and to maintain paperwork for all new and placed candidates. The main activities include:

  • Completing all necessary credentialing or background checks on all candidates
  • Conducting telephone interviews with candidates as required
  • Advertising job vacancies on our website and other relevant internet sites or publications.
  • Maintaining and updating candidate details on our database for reporting purposes and to assist recruiters with placements.
  • Providing all relevant information to a candidate for a potential opportunity including welcome packs, terms and conditions, hospital information sheets and relevant travel information.
  • Conducting daily searches for new candidates for appropriate medical specialties.
  • Managing ongoing loyalty and referral rewards
  • Conducting exit interviews

Migration Agents & Regulatory Consultants
Our Migration Agents & Regulatory Consultants perform a vital role at Wavelength ensuring the Doctor's we place have all of the requisite qualifications and registration to be eligible to work within Australia & New Zealand and also provide invaluable assistance with their Australian immigration visas as they are relocating from  countries all over the world.

Migration Agents
Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing migration advice to Wavelength clients and candidates regarding the migration process and eligibility.
  • Interviewing clients to determine needs, analyse applicable regulations and provide professional and strategic advice as to available options.
  • Collating and submitting applications on behalf of candidates & clients to Australian Immigration tracking their progress through to completion whilst troubleshooting any issues.
  • Case management of these applications - recording all key information, updates and notes on our database and relevant files.
  • Represent clients before Australian Immigration.  
  • Provide oral and or written submissions on facts in issue as appropriate to Australian Immigration.
  • Liaise with clients, candidates, recruiters, relevant internal Regulatory Consultant and with immigration officials throughout the processes.
  • Maintain all business activities as per the Code of Conduct that can be available for inspection on request by MARA.

Regulatory Consultants
Regulatory Consultants working closely with the recruitment team, Doctors, clients and various regulatory bodies (once a Doctor is placed), to gather the requisite paperwork to make an application (on their behalf) for registration in the relevant state and country.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing regulatory advice to Wavelength clients and candidates regarding the regulatory process and eligibility.
  • Interviewing clients to determine needs, analyse applicable regulations and provide professional and strategic advice as to available options.   
  • Collating and submitting applications on behalf of candidates & clients to the requisite bodies and tracking their progress through to completion whilst troubleshooting any issues.
  • Case management of these applications - recording all key information, updates and notes on our database and relevant files.
  • Building relationships with the key regulatory authorities involved in the registration and migration of overseas trained doctors including the Department of Health, Specialty Colleges,  Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA), the Medical Boards, and Medicare.
  • Regular liaison with Wavelength's registered Migration Agents who will be assisting the Doctors and our clients with their applications to the Department of Immigration regarding sponsorships and visas.
  • Undertaking ongoing research pertinent to particular cases and to ensure current knowledge of the regulatory pathways.

Accounts Receivable
This is a critical role for our business as it is required to process a high volume of invoices within defined timeframes, complete Sales/Income Reporting and manage the Credit Control or Debt Collection
